Drexel Moves Up In Rankings

Drexel University jumped 10 places to 74th on the list of 968 colleges and universities in The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education rankings. Even better, when you take out public universities and private liberal arts colleges, our ranking among private universities was 36th.

Year in Review: 2017 President’s Report

The pride we share in Drexel University is built upon progress made in so many areas of University life, and it’s detailed for the last year in my latest President’s Report. As you review it, I hope you will see how we’re focused on creating an exciting future – whether it’s training next-generation educators for urban classrooms, learning entrepreneurial skills by actually running businesses, conducting life-saving research, making medical breakthroughs, or improving our community through civic engagement.

The Value of Higher Education

There is a bipartisan effort in Washington, D.C. to require colleges and universities to disclose comprehensive data about students’ earnings once they graduate. This is a worthy idea, given the sizeable investment students and/or parents make when it comes to higher education.
